Greaseclean
Eliminate grease trap odour. Clear drain blockages. Protect your kitchen.
Engineered for biological drain line & grease trap cleaner.
In any commercial kitchen or food facility, fats, oils, and grease are a daily reality — and a constant management challenge. Grease traps clog. Drain lines block. The resulting odour is offensive and the risk of hygiene incidents is real. Conventional chemical drain cleaners provide temporary relief but often make matters worse. Greaseclean works differently: targeting the biological source of grease build-up and eliminating it permanently.
Six stages from application to ongoing biological protection.
Greaseclean Applied to Drain or Grease Trap
Product is poured directly into drains, floor drains, or grease trap inlet. Best applied in the evening when drains are not in active use — allowing maximum contact time.
Enzyme Activation & Grease Penetration
Enzymes activate on contact with fats, oils, and grease. Lipase enzymes specifically target and break down fat molecules — liquefying solid grease deposits.
Organic Build-Up Degradation
The full spectrum of organic matter in drain lines — grease, food particles, proteins, and oils — is systematically broken down into water-soluble compounds.
Bacteria Colony Establishment
Enzyme-producing bacteria establish a colony in the drain line and grease trap — producing additional enzymes between applications.
Odour Neutralisation
Hydrogen sulphide and other odour-producing compounds from anaerobic grease decomposition are neutralised at source.
Ongoing Protection & Maintenance
Regular weekly or bi-weekly application maintains the enzyme colony, prevents re-accumulation, and reduces the frequency of professional pump-out required.

Ask our specialists
How often should Greaseclean be applied?
+
For active commercial kitchens, weekly application is standard — ideally at the end of service when drains are idle. For heavily loaded grease traps, bi-weekly application may be appropriate initially before moving to weekly maintenance.
Does Greaseclean replace professional grease trap pump-out?
+
Greaseclean significantly reduces the frequency of professional pump-out required — often by 50% or more — but does not eliminate the need entirely. Think of it as shifting from reactive to proactive maintenance.
Is Greaseclean safe to pour into drains directly?
+
Yes. Greaseclean is 100% organic, non-toxic, and biodegradable. Safe for commercial drain systems and will not damage pipes, seals, or sewer infrastructure.
Will Greaseclean work in an already-blocked drain?
+
For fully blocked drains, mechanical clearance may be required first to restore initial flow. Once flow is restored, Greaseclean can degrade the remaining organic matter and prevent re-blockage.
